Silver threads among the gold
by Phil Spickler
6 Nov 99
Greetings and salutations, and glad tidings at this, the reopening of the
fabled and famous IVy-list --
Sometime in the not-too-distant past, Ant had started a very
interesting and sometimes humorous thread concerning Scientology basics. I
propose at this time to hopefully add some humor in that direction, so here
goes:
Basic #1 -- Did you get the money?
Basic #2 -- I always thought he was kind of suppressive.
Basic #3 -- They're almost all against us.
Basic #4 -- This is a modest price rise of only 5% per month.
Basic #5 -- The German government can't tell a fascist
organization when it sees one.
Basic #6 -- Scientology is a deadly serious business (HCOPL "Keeping
Scientology Working")
Well anyway, I think the above have quite a bit of humor in them, and
in fact they might be good for at least a few chuckles.
Under the heading of "real" basics that might properly be in the area
of tech, rather than the philosophy, I think the biggest one of all that will
continue to outshine any other possibility is:
1. Did the pc WIN, by his own subjective measurement and meaning of that
term?
2. Did you make certain in that session that the pc ended on a win?
3. Did the pc or student, by and in their own estimation and certainty,
consider that their auditing and training produced a win(s)?
4. Does anyone auditing or training folks have as their basic intention at
all times and in all situations that the pc or student will come out of it
confident of winning?
5. Do you, the auditor or instructor, have as your basic intention in the
direction of all students and pcs that they shall win in each phase of their
auditing and training, and that never shall any other intention supercede or
have greater import than that?
Gee whiz! I hope this doesn't sound like I'm stuck on a win!
And once again, all the best to the subscribers list and its founder,
Ant --
As ever,
Phil
